Chickaroo Reviews - LittleBigPlanet (PS3)

Post by chickaroo1 »

Who doesn’t love fun, creative games that have a pretty big community? It’s cute, it’s cool, it’s LittleBigPlanet!Game: LittleBigPlanet
Systems: PlayStation 3
Release Dates: 10/27/08 (NA), 11/3/08 (PAL), 11/5/08 (UK)
Developers: Media Molecule
Where Imagination Comes to Life
Story: (Dude I don’t even know if there is much of a story).
There are 8 zones to play through and many levels in the zones. All of these zones are creative in a way. Some characters in levels may need your help and it’s up to your little Sackboy to fix the world.
Let Your Imagination Run Wild
Gameplay: This game acts a side scrolling 2.5D platformer but also lets you create whatever you want (to a degree). You got the main campaign to play through and by connecting online, you can play through custom levels that others have created and play through them.
Sackboy can do many things. He can jump, run, swing, etc. Now if he gets hit, he will die, but respawn at a checkpoint. There is a certain number of hits you’re allowed with, but it doesn’t keep count until you hear an alarm. If you die as the alarm is going off, it’s a bit of a game over and you are sent back to the hub world or restart the level.
The game can be a lot of fun while very challenging. As the levels go on, it can get a little harder to figure out things.
A Bright And Colorful World
Graphics: This game is very colorful and just has a happy tone to it. It’s friendly, playful, creative and wacky. And the fact that you can customize your Sackboy is what makes this game a lot of fun too.
Fitting
Music: I guess there isn’t much to say. The music here isn’t very memorable. It’s an okay soundtrack.
Lots of Fun For Guys And Gals?
Overall: LittleBigPlanet is a really fun game! It’s creative, wacky and cute. Anyone of all ages can enjoy this fun and whimsical game.
