Weather effects in games give off the that sense of realism in some games. Games such as Jak 2 & 3, the 3D sandbox GTA games...the weather can either make those kinds of games more interesting or pure hell (pure hell as in missions when the weather is NOT your best friend).

A mission in Jak 3 in the desert Wasteland had you looking for something(s) and as the clock continued to go down, the sandstorm would worsen til eventually you can't see nothing at all.....the weather did not screw around....Dr Shaneman wrote:I've played games where real stormy weather can cause a bit of annoyance.
