SEGA To Be Appearing At E3 2012!

The company has made their own line-up of games to be showcased at the world's largest gaming convention, including a MAJOR announcement and more!

Well, looks like SEGA is going to appear at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), and they do have a nice list of games to show at the event! Here's their lineup:

  • Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and PC Digital Download - Late 2012.)
  • Aliens: Colonial  Marines (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC - February 12, 2013 (Wii U – 2013))
  • Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz (PlayStation Vita - October 23, 2012
  • The Cave  (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC - Early 2013)
  • Hell Yeah! (Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, PC Digital Download - Summer 2012
  • Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown (Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network - June 5th & 6th, 2012
  • Jet Set Radio (Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, PC Digital Download, PlayStation Vita - Summer 2012.

From this list it appears that Anarchy Reigns won't be part of the lineup this year, despite the game fully developed and ready for shipping. Plus, not only that but there's going to be a MAJOR announcement concerning Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed, as noted by Gamezone. What this may be, we just have to wait and see.

Plus SEGA's getting you in on the E3 action through means of Instagram & Twitter!

We’re excited to make our debut on Instagram just in time for E3! We’ll be updating with photos from the show, including some behind-the-scenes photos. (You can also expect some food pictures.)  Once E3 is over, we’ll continue updating with photos from our office and other shows we attend, and special events like Summer of Sonic and Sonic Boom. Our Instagram username is SEGA (shocking, I know), so follow us for all kinds of picture goodness. Posting pictures from our booth at E3? Our hashtag on Instagram is the same as Twitter — #SegaE3

So, what do you think may happen at E3 2012 in the case of SEGA? Or the whole conference? Let us know in the comments below and in our E3 thread over at out message boards!

Thanks to the SEGA Blog for the whole, as well Gamezone for the All-Stars tidbit!
