Saturday Night Specials. Remember those? SNS' themed shows return - find out 2013s lineup inside!
Back in Saturday Night SEGA's infancy, I used to pick a show out that would be longer than usual, and feature music from a particular artist, later expanding to specific game series or DJ mixes and becoming less frequent.
Well, as 2013 is the last full year of Saturday Night SEGA, there's no better time to bring back the Saturday Night Special than right now. Every month, tune in to a 3 hour show dedicated to..well, see for yourself (dates TBA unless stated):
January - SNS Presents: Anarchy Reigns
February - SNS ReMixed II
March - Saturday Night S3GA (Sat 16th March)
April - SNS Presents: Opposite Day 2013 (Sat 27th April)
May - SNS Presents: ClubSEGA @ London Gaming Con (Sat 11th May)
June - Saturday Night Sonic: 22nd Birthday Bash (Sat 22nd June)
July - RadioSEGA's Summer Soundtrack 2013
August - Jet Set RadioSEGA
September - SNS: Platinum Edition
October - Saturday Fright SEGA (Sat 26th Oct)
November - Saturday Night S.S.T. Band: The Encore!
December - SNS Presents: 2013 in Review (Sat 28th Dec)
January's Special has already aired (it was on last week, and will be available to download soon), but of the other 11 listed, which ones have grabbed your attention?
As a note - These 12 are DEFINITE Specials. Depending on what might happen during the year, more might get added. I will be using this blog more often though, especially to actually detail what some of these specials are. What are we doing for SNS' 3rd birthday? What is the Platinum Edition? When will you get to hear three hours of Jet Set Radio/Jet Set Radio Future music?
All this and more in a future blog. Up next month though - Saturday Night SEGA ReMixed II!

Ohohoho! Monthly SNSpecials! I'm liking the idea of these episodes, especially considering this is the show's final year and all. Also nice that past SNSpecials are coming back too (like the Summer Soundtrack & S.S.T. Band shows). Should be exciting in the months ahead!Report
