I remember watching the original Hellsing, it was okay if a little cheaply animated but it got me to check out the manga. I was pretty excited to learn they were redoing Hellsing as a OVA with 1:1 OVA volume to Manga volume. It's still pretty cheaply animated but the source material was so awesome it didn't matter.
Hellsing Alucard > All other Alucards
You can get them for £3 each but I've been a bit weary of actually getting them because there hasn't been a new release since Volume IV.

I dunno, they haven't really used Alucard enough in Castlevania to do him justice. He's a good match I'd say. Just more old fashioned.

Doesn't really matter, they're equally as animated. But seriously, as long as it's not Hellsing (TV) you'd be okay. Alucard from CV is Dracula's son. Does that mean Alucard from Hellsing is Alucard from Castlevania's father? :B

Looks like he's now working on a manga called Drifters, it's an alternative history thing apparently. I may check it out.
There's a Devil May Cry anime but I doubt it's any good.
