I might have said this on a previes treid but I remember a memory from old times...
I remember one day when I was watching my favorite Satelite show. A german channel (Yeah, I know German. So what?
), called Super RTL. in the break between my two cartoons, there came this advert about a new show that was going to come on Super RTL. It was Sonic Underground. Ofcaurse even though I was a big fan of Sonic, I didn't knew much about him and I never would have thought that he had a TV show! It was so awsome for me to see that my favorite Character and hero was going to have a show in the Channle. I was Running all over the house and telling my mom, who was speaking on the phone, "MOM! SONIC IS ON TV!!!!". Ofcaurse she had No idea what I was talkingabout (Mothers...
) but I didn't care, I was so happy that I couldn't wait for another week! I was awake all night, thinking about the sceens I saw on the advert and who those 2 other characters (Manik and Sonia) were.
But now, thanks to the amazing power of the internet and YouTube, I saw all the episodes of Sonic Underground. I have also seen all episodes of Sonic X and most of Sonic the hedgehog(I couldn't find some episodes). AlthoughI never began to watch AoStH again since it was too childish for me. After seeing all the Sonic shows, I moved to Digimon Tamers(Best Digimon series of the all!) and now, I am watching Naruto. When i finished with that, I will go back and watch the remaining Sonic the Hedgehog Series and than I migh give a Crack on Naruto Shippuden.

I remember having read reviews and seen pictures in old CVG and thought it looked amazing! I wanted this games and the console so bad!
Saving for what felt for ages and selling some other precious games I could finally afford it. Played the game for ages when I first got it. One of the games that made me a Sega fan in the first place. The Sonic love have been passed on to my kids who also enjoy Sonic

I remember drawing the poses and attempting to make the animations of sonic cd's intro video.
Needless to say my drawings looked like crap, but I thought they were really cool back then.
Lately I still find myself admiring and sometimes trying to emulate those exact same poses.
They always trhilled me.

Watch it at 1080p (I can't believe it myself that I found this on such quality!)
Look at the whole feel Sonic is given while running, jumping, staring or spinning.
Then try to pause it at ANY position you may think of with sonic present, you will see every single frame is notable.
The video was present (though at a very lower quality) in this tremendous 1992 CD game, nothing more to say really.

My first game I played was sonic the hedgehog (1) for the sega genesis, I still remember that I mostly didn't came further than the 2nd stage my sister came a bit further but none of us was able to get to the last
. I was that young I didn't really realise what gaming and sonic was. I was just 3-5years old? (the sonic game I really became a sonic fan of was when my mother bought a gamecube for us, where my sister bought sonic adventure 2 battle for. After hours of watching how she was playing I had a chance too. I loved it.)

By the time sonic came out in 1991 I had already been playing my master system and mega drive for years, and was so eager to get my hands on sonic. After the huge amount of hype I finally had my chance to take control of the blue hedgehog.
My brother picked it up for me on release day and came over, I hadn't felt well at school that day but that was not going to put me off. I was always quite good at platformers and I flew through the opening levels (just as was required for the fast blew blur), though as I was starting spring yard zone the worst thing possible happened... I vomited everywhere (including on the mega drive), so I had to put it away until the next day.
So that is my very first sonic memory, but over the years there was so many more. And I always have prided myself on these two facts, I used to be able to complete both sonic 1 & 2 back to back within two hours (done it once to raise money for charity by getting people to sponsor me, it was a thing games master was trying to get people to do) & that I could get all the chaos emeralds on sonic 2 before the end of Emerald Hill Zone (without using the cheat).
On a side note, as far as I am concerned, Dr. Robotnik will never be Eggman... Ever.
