Below are some commonly asked questions that should help you if you have any problems listening to RadioSEGA. If you have a problem and you can't find the answer, please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.
Any media player that can support AAC+ streaming. Examples of these can be found on the Listen Now page. To listen using Windows Media Player, you will either need to be running Windows 7 or to download the AAC codec.
The iPhone is perfect for listening to RadioSEGA as there are apps available that support Icecast. RadioSEGA has been tested with both FStream and Internet Radio Box.

Of course! We've also tested the stream with apps available on other smartphone apps like TuneIn Radio. You can also listen via computer apps like iTunes, Winamp, RealPlayer and others. See the Listen Now page for suggestions.
RadioSEGA offers an AAC+ stream to listeners, broadcasted at 64kbps
If you are listening on a smartphone, make sure it supports the AAC+ codec, but this is only recommended if you have a large data usage allowance, either with your mobile provider or a Wi-Fi connection.
Sometimes it's not possible to listen due to a number of reasons, the most common being a full server. On the Listen Now page there is a sever status box, this will tell you if RadioSEGA is working, and how many slots are available.
If you cannot listen even when the server is online with free slots, ensure port 8006 is not blocked on your firewall. You may find this is an issue when online via a school or workplace connection.
If you are still unsure as to why you are having issues you can contact us for assistance, or report the problem on the Message Board, our members and staff may be able to assist you.
You can easily request music by heading over to our requests section of the site. The requests system is free to use, all you need is a RadioSEGA account, which is free to register.
Contact the members of the Web Dev team using the PM system on the Message Board, please provide as much detail about the problem as you can including any error messages. It may also help if you tell us what your operating system is, and what software you are using.
