May can only mean the cheesiest competition on TV getting broadcast, and to mark the events surrounding the Eurovision Song Contest this week, tonight's SEGA Mixer Drive will focus entirely on those European (and Australian) arrangers that repped the blue brand. Read on after the jump...
Last year's Eurovision special was a great success, so this is one to easily bring back! The normal request rules apply - remix must have been for a game either published or developed by Sega - but the twist with tonight's show is that the arranger responsible for the remix must hail from any of the 43 countries that got involved with it (and that includes forcefully-withdrawn Romania and returning non-European guest Australia). It's all about that continental flavour tonight, with no political conflict in the slightest.
There's five ways for you to get in touch with your requests, so if you know of any arrangers from any of those countries that you'd like to get repped tonight, or know of a great track from an arranger from any of those countries, then get in touch! You have my Twitter (include the hashtag #SEGAMixerDrive), a Private Message on the RadioSEGA Message Boards, a query on the IRC, an email at bev [dot] wooff [at] gmail [dot] com, or sending a post to SMD's Facebook Page. This year's Eurovision theme is Come Together - and that is exactly what we'll do this evening!
No hard feelings or Stockholm syndrome tonight - it's douze points for all on SEGA Mixer Drive! Coming live every Friday night at 9PM UK time (4PM PDT / 1PM PDT / 10PM CET) on RadioSEGA!
Requests between 21st Apr and 27th Apr
