Announcing Season 2!
The best way to start your RadioSEGA LiVE week is back again.
Feeling those Monday blues already? It's been almost two months since The Manic Monday Show last aired on RadioSEGA... Well, now it's time to make Mondays great again!
I'm pleased to announce Season 2 of The Manic Monday Show will premiere on RadioSEGA on the 5th of September!
Yes, it's time for another year of crazyness, say my names, chill tracks, people's choices, SEGA tracks related to certain things... But this season will be slightly different. How, you ask? Here's a few ways:
1. Instead of a word or expression of the week, we'll be dedicating each episode to current events like international days, funny holidays, etc.
2. The Manic Jukebox. Just like the music-playing machines of old, we'll have a playlist of 40 (yes, forty!) tracks to choose from. Each week, one of our listeners will get the chance to insert a coin and pick 3 of them to be played on the show. That person will then have the privilege of replacing those songs with 3 of their own choosing. The week after, another random lucky person will have a go on the jukebox!
3. Third Party Tracks of the Week. Much of our experience with SEGA consoles was based around third party games and their music. That's why I'll be incorporating a third party segment into The Manic Monday Show. Starting now, you can
go here to suggest your favourite tracks from non-SEGA games released on SEGA systems. I'll do my best to play them throughout the season.
4. And finally, the SEGAthlon! If you tuned in to The SEGA Mix this past weekend, you already know what you're in for. A brand new game consisting of a series of challenges that will be played live, on air, by a different listener each week. After a few weeks, the person with the best overall score will win a prize. Not as easy as it sounds but definitely worth a few laughs!
There you go: Season 2 of The Manic Monday Show, starting Monday, 5th September, at 8pm BST/WEST (9pm CEST/3pm EST/12pm PST), right here on RadioSEGA!
